MEET SHALON

Growing up In the Shuswap was something I never truly appreciated until I spent a number of years overseas after graduation. Growing up on the lake and on acreage in the Shuswap is something that was truly a blessing and something I am very grateful for. Most of my family background is real estate. My parents moved to the Shuswap in the 1970s, both got into real estate and later on owned the Sorrento office until the late 1980s. They eventually moved on to some development and commercial projects. I was involved in many different career opportunities which took me from Australia, Thailand, Northern BC, and the Caribbean and involved industries from health care, hospitality, Oil and Gas, mining, commercial and recreational diving, to Retail management, online marketing and organic farming. After deciding to move back to Canada in late 2013 I searched for an opportunity that would allow me to be in the community and eventually get back to running my own business again. My parents were extremely excited for me to follow in their foot steps and get my Real estate license in 2016. After that my goals were eventually to own the office that my parents had owned at one point in time. That goal was achieved in 2019 and was a really incredible feeling to have a business that allowed me to enjoy the things I like doing and helping people.  

In 2020 I connected with my business partner Jayson Tracy. We decided to expand and open a second office in down town Salmon arm. This has been a huge joy to me.Getting involved in training and development with many of the newly licensed Realtors, we have been working with and expanding our Brand and philosophy around community, connecting with and helping people.

When I am not working I am in nature and out enjoying the many wonderful trails and activities on the water and in the snow that are around us in the Shuswap. 

I am passionate about living here and showing other people the fantastic lifestyle that living in the Shuswap has to offer. I'm passionate about fulfilling the needs of my clients, and I love a good challenge!
