David believes EDUCATION is a very important part of his service for anyone contemplating buying or selling a property. Not only are buildings complicated and often require much expertise to assess their design and construction value besides market value, but real estate transactions are becoming more complicated requiring a knowledgeable guide. David’s background as an architect is a benefit that his clients enjoy not offered by most realtors. During his architectural career he was project manager for some very significant buildings in Canada. Included in the list is the largest most energy efficient building in the world (at the time north of the equator), the University of Calgary Child Development Centre. Another unique project was the 76-courtroom twin tower 32 story, one million square foot, Calgary Courts Centre located in the downtown. David was also the project manager for, The Taylor Family Digital Library, the new heart of the Calgary main campus that has become a model for libraries of the future in North America. Another project of note is The National Music Centre of Canada, a major cultural facility in Canada receiving world acclaim. During his architectural career, he was responsible for over 150 buildings located in Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C. that included a variety of building types from shopping centers, residential towers, office building, institutional and even health care facilities not to mention single family homes. Whether you are looking for assistance to sell your home or are searching for a home or a revenue generating property, wondering about the renovation or restoration prospects of a heritage property, or looking for guidance in deciding whether to buy or build your dream home, David is more than happy to assist you with these important decisions and to understand the process that may involve helping you create a project team of consultants necessary to achieve your real estate goals.
