Parking Your License
By keeping your license active, you can still earn money by referring your business to an active Board member. You also have the option of co-listing with another Fair Realty agent who is a member of a Board. You will remain an active licensed agent registered with the Real Estate Council of BC, however, you are precluded from trading directly. You will be held to the same Council compliance standards as any other licenced real estate professional and will be required to complete all Council educational requirements every 2 year licensing cycle. You will not be a member of any Real Estate Board and will not have access to webforms or their MLS® services. What is monthly fee for non-board office?
$50.00 plus GST / monthly
What other fees do I need to pay?
$1,450.00 every two years. This is a MUST to maintain your licence with RECBC.
Do I still need to earn 18 credits for two year licensing period?
No, this is a board mandatory only, you must take the courses that RECBC requires you to take ie. Legal update,
